Naree is a mother–daughter slow-fashion brand, inspired by two worlds: the calm coastlines of Northern Ireland and the rich colour and craftsmanship of India. Our story begins with family, textiles, and a shared belief that clothing should feel good in every sense of the word — on your skin, in your heart, and in the world it touches.

Two Worlds, One Vision

Naree was shaped by the meeting of two places and two perspectives.

Namita grew up in India, surrounded by textiles and garment production. She saw the beauty of skilled craftsmanship, but also the reality of an industry driven by speed, cost-cutting and volume — where people and planet are often an afterthought. Reea was raised in Northern Ireland, influenced by a slower pace of life, open landscapes and a natural appreciation for comfort, simplicity and balance. Together, they shared a vision: to create clothing that blended the artistry of India with the calm, understated elegance of coastal living.

Naree is the meeting point of those worlds — where colour and craft meet softness and ease.

Even the name carries meaning. “Naree” is a blend of Namita and Reea, and in Sanskrit it means woman — a quiet celebration of strength, grace and everyday resilience.

A Different Approach to Fashion

From the beginning, we knew we didn’t want to follow the fast-fashion model. Instead of chasing trends or seasonal drops, we chose a slower, more thoughtful path. One that values quality over quantity, people over margins, and longevity over disposability.

We design small-batch resort and loungewear using natural, breathable fabrics — pieces that are easy to wear, easy to love, and made to last. Every garment is created with comfort and versatility in mind, so it fits effortlessly into real life: from home to holidays, from quiet mornings to warm summer evenings. No fast fashion. No shortcuts. Just well-made clothing, created with care.

Our pieces are made in small batches by skilled artisans in India, many of whom come from generations of textile craftsmanship.

We work closely with our production partners to ensure fair wages, respectful working conditions and a supportive environment — because beautiful clothing should never come at the expense of the people who make it.

We also keep our packaging simple and biodegradable, avoiding unnecessary waste or over-designed “luxury” packaging that ends up discarded. For us, true luxury is thoughtful, not excessive.
